The contractor continued installing temporary traffic signals and completed saw cutting for curb and gutter and pavement removal along the south side of 16th Street between Harlem Avenue and Wenonah Avenue. Sidewalk and curb and gutter removal was completed between Wenonah Avenue and Home Avenue. The contractor also excavated and placed aggregate base for sidewalk and curb and gutter between Harlem Avenue and Wenonah Avenue.
Work Anticipated Next Week
Installation of the temporary traffic signals and removal of the existing traffic signals are expected to be completed. Saw cutting for removals along the south side of 16th Street between Home Avenue and Kenilworth Avenue is anticipated to finish. Sidewalk and curb and gutter removal is planned to continue along the south side of the roadway, and curb and gutter placement is scheduled to begin.

No parking restrictions are in effect along the south side of 16th Street between Harlem Avenue and Kenilworth Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The south-side parking lane between Harlem Avenue and Home Avenue is closed to parking.
